The world’s largest celebration of Entrepreneurship, the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is here again. GEW occurs every year in November and aims at celebrating creativity, innovation, and job creation, and focuses on providing promotion and support for SMEs.
These are the events to commemorate the week in Nigeria:
Youth Entrepreneurship Dialogue
Youth Entrepreneurship Dialogue (YED) is an annual forum that brings together 1000 young people during the GEW and exposes them to the different aspects of entrepreneurship. The event records pitch sessions where three winners will be given seed money. The pitch sessions will give away a total of N6M.

Women Enterprise Day
WED is a Global Entrepreneurship Week event. The Conference which usually has over 500 women participating in it annually is a full-day business conference that brings together female entrepreneurs, business experts, media, investors, and community and government leaders to support and celebrate women in business.

Creative Summit Nigeria and Creative Business Nigeria Finals
The Creative summit Nigeria is part of Nigeria’s Creative Business Cup final event, as part of continuous learning and networking for young people in the sector. The cultural and creative industries in Africa have shown great potential to accelerate economic growth and creation of job opportunities in the region and as you know, it has become an important aspect in Nigeria.
The summit is expected to attract entrepreneurs and participants from across Africa who will share their experiences.

7 days of GEW Radio – 16 – 22nd November 2020
Statistics from Inspiration 92.3 FM show an average listenership on the radio program to be between 2 .5 million across the nation – both on the terrestrial radio and online.
